Playform Privacy Policy

Datankare LLC (“we”, “us”) operates Playform at playform.datankare.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Contact: raman@datankare.com.

Who may use Playform

Playform is for people aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and email from Google. Passwords are handled by Amazon Cognito; we never see or store them.
• Content you submit: text, speech recordings, files and audio you submit for translation, transcription, speech or music identification.
• Guest use: if you use Playform without an account, a random guest identifier and a count of translations used, so guest limits can be applied.
• Technical information: basic device and browser information, error reports, and usage needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

To provide the service, keep accounts secure, apply usage limits, screen submitted content for safety and abuse, fix errors, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that operate Playform on our behalf: Amazon Web Services (sign-in), Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (AI processing and content safety), Google Cloud (translation, speech and text-to-speech), ACRCloud (music identification) and Sentry (error reporting). They may process data in the United States.

Storage on your device

We use your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in, and short-lived cookies for sign-in security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention

We keep account information while your account exists. Content is kept only as long as needed to provide the result and for safety review. Guest data expires automatically.

Your choices and rights

You can request a copy of your data or delete your account at any time, in the app or by emailing raman@datankare.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights to access, correct or delete information, or to object to its use. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and row-level security in our database. No system is perfectly secure.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for material changes, give notice in the app.
